Our Costa Rica Jungle Hotel offers you a unique experience in an awesome country. A hotel where all the rooms are individual tree houses and where the trees are part of your room up high in the Costa Rican rain forest.

Tree Houses Hotel is a bed and breakfast hotel conveniently located off the main road that runs through La Fortuna and around the Arenal Volcano. We are a short 25 minute drive to the high tourist area. People seek us out with that in mind, to be away from it all but close enough to enjoy all the fun adventure the La Fortuna, Arenal Volcano area has to offer.

Amenities:

We have just six tree houses (each very private) on 8 acres, and we are surrounded by a 70 acre wildlife refuge with a waterfall, pools to swim and a beautiful river.

Our property is a bird watcher’s paradise and wildlife lover’s dream. Sloths, monkeys, toucans, armadillos, hummingbirds, parrots and motmots are just a few of the animals our guest see most every day. It’s not uncommon to see blue morpho and many other species of butterflies. The only people with access to our property and wildlife refuge are customers of Tree Houses Hotel Costa Rica.

A full and delicious breakfast is served in our new rancho surrounded by our hummingbird gallery and bird feeding area. It is a very lively place where guests enjoy meeting each other or just sitting quietly with a good cup of Costa Rican coffee.

ROOM AMENITIES:

All accommodations are private and set in the midst of the lush Costa Rican jungle. Each tree house features A/C, warm water showers, refrigerators and safes. A nice private deck and individual parking spaces are features people really enjoy and appreciate. We pride ourselves in offering a clean, comfortable and secure hotel. Housekeeping and laundry services are available on a daily basis.

We offer three options for sleeping in a tree house. The Toucan, Sloth and Frog tree houses are all private and very cozy with a loft for the kids or adventurous adults. The Monkey and Hummingbird tree houses are both private with one level and much larger. The Yiguirro tree house is our most luxurious and private tree house. All tree houses offer rustic yet comfortable accommodations on the edge of a 70-acre wildlife refuge in the Costa Rican rain forest. Each tree house has air conditioning, warm-water showers, a refrigerator, safe and a large deck to relax and enjoy the rainforest. All accommodations are on the same property and are within a short walk of one another. Since we are such a small hotel we can't guarantee which tree house you will get but will guarantee that you will stay in a tree house with the price range you are requesting. We always do everything we can to accommodate your request.

 

Pricing:

Toucan, Frog, and Sloth tree houses:
$95 / night — double occupancy *

Monkey and Hummingbird tree houses:
$120 / night — double occupancy *

Yiguirro tree house:
$140 / night — double occupancy *

Additional persons are $15 each / night.
