Puerto Rico Gay Travel

Puerto Rico is the most LGBT friendly island in the Caribbean and best of all, if you’re a U.S. citizen you won’t need a passport to travel to San Juan or other beautiful cities in Puerto Rico. San Juan is the major resort destination and at center of the action on this tropical island. In San Juan the locals are super friendly, the beaches are beautiful, and the night life will have you salsa dancing all night. There are bars, clubs, and restaurants all throughout the city, with the neighborhoods of Santurce and Condado hosting most of the action. In fact, Condado Beach is a gay beach hot spot where you’ll find tons of gay and lesbian travelers tanning under the Caribbean sun.

Puerto Rico is a great destination for families, adventurer’s, romance, honeymooners, and more. Offering activities from jet skiing, snorkeling, and fishing, to zip lining and other outdoor activities, Puerto Rico offers something for everyone. Families can enjoy the rich history this island boasts with local tours and museums.  Puerto Rico is often a port for many LGBT cruises that frequent the Caribbean.

When deciding where to stay in Puerto Rico, you may want to stay at one of the many large resorts; however most are non-all inclusive. Even still, the resorts offer practically everything you can think of. Other options include the many quality LGBT owned guesthouses, which provide a more intimate setting and local experience.
