The city is surrounded by beautiful scenes of nature. During the winter, there are three mountains for skiing, snowboarding, and fun in the snow, all within a 30 minute drive. For summer, the city’s location on the Pacific coast allows for breath taking sunsets. The epicenter of the scene is the stretch of Davie Street between Burrard and Jervis, known as Davie Village. Davie Village hosts a cluster of cafes, casual eateries, pubs, nightclubs and shops. Granville Market, one of the largest farmers markets in the region serves up local produce and dishes to travelers and locals alike.
